Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
The A-spot, or anterior fornix, is a deep erogenous zone on the front vaginal wall that many people have never learned about. First identified in clinical research in 1997, it's associated with increased natural lubrication, heightened arousal, and deeper, more full-body pleasure. This is a complete educational guide to understanding and locating it — whether you're exploring your own body or learning with a partner.
What you'll learn:
✔ What the A-spot is and where it's located, according to the research
✔ Why arousal is essential to accessing this zone comfortably
✔ How the clitoris, G-spot, and A-spot connect as a pathway
✔ Techniques, tools, and positions for exploring it safely
This is an educational sexual-wellness video intended for adult audiences.

Welcome And New Show Name
SPEAKER_00I'm Annette Benedetti, host of the podcast formerly known as Locker Room Talk and Shots. The show has a new name, Talk Sex with Annette. But at its core, this is still your locker room. It's where we strip away shame, get curious, and speak the unspoken about sex, kink dating, pleasure, and desire. Around here, nothing's off limits. These are the kinds of conversations we save for our boldest group chat, our most trusted friends, and of course, the women's locker room. Think raw, honest, and sometimes unapologetically raunchy. Welcome to my podcast where desire meets disruption and pleasure becomes power. Let's talk about sex. Cheers. Today's Talk Sex with a Net Topic is the A spot, which might be the single most requested thing my listeners and viewers have asked me about. And I understand why. Most people have finally heard of the G spot. They maybe have even found it, and then they hear there's something deeper, something even more intense, and they want to know what it is and how to get there. So today I'm giving you the complete guide, whether you're a partner who wants to give this to the woman you're with, or you're a woman who wants to find it on your own body. By the end of this, you're going to know exactly what the A-spot is, why it produces the kind of pleasure a lot of women have genuinely never felt before, and the step-by-step path to reaching it. But before I dive in, I have to remind you that I'm over on OnlyFans, and there I'm sharing my sex and intimacy, how-tos, demos, and audio guided self-pleasure meditations, and so much more. You can find me there and on Substack with my handle at
What The A-Spot Really Is
SPEAKER_00TalkSexWithanette. You can also scroll down to the notes section below, and you're going to find links to everywhere you want to find me there. I can't wait to see you there. But for now, let's dive into the A spot. Let's start with what the A spot actually is. There's a spot deeper than the G spot that most people have never heard of, and it produces some of the most intense orgasms a woman's body is capable of. Let me tell you exactly what it is, because the mystery around it is half the reason people can't find it. The A-spot is short for the anterior fornix, and it's an erogenous zone located deep on the front wall of the vagina, up near the cervix. It sits deeper than the G spot, usually somewhere around four to six inches in. Though I want to say this very clearly right now that those numbers are a rough guide and not a rule, because every single body is different. And I'll come back to why chasing a measurement will actually work against you. Here's what makes it worth the trip. The research on the anterior for next has found that stimulating it is directly associated with increased natural lubrication. So when it's activated properly, her body responds by getting wetter on its own. It increases blood flow to the whole vaginal area, which makes everything, including penetration, feel better. And the orgasms it produces tend to be deep, full body, longer lasting. And for a lot of women, they come with real emotional release because this kind of deep internal pleasure is wired differently than the sharp, focused external clitoral orgasm most women know best. On top of all that, once a woman learns to access a spot pleasure, it often becomes far easier for her to have blended orgasms and multiple orgasms, because now she's got several kinds of pleasure available to stack on top of each other. One thing I can tell you from my own body is how it feels compared to the cheese spot. The cheese spot has a slightly raised, spongier texture that a lot of people learn to recognize, whereas the A spot feels smoother, more like the rest of the vaginal wall, which is part of why it's harder to find by feel alone and why arousal and her feedback matter so much more than hunting for a texture. So this is not a party trick or a myth. It's a real documented erogenous zone, and learning to reach it can genuinely change what woman believes her own body is capable of. So here's why arousal is the whole game. If you are looking for the A-spot before she's turned on, you won't just miss it. You'll make it feel bad. This is the part almost everyone gets wrong at first. And it's the single most important thing in this entire episode. So I want you to really hear it. The A-spot only feels good when she is already deeply aroused. I can tell you from my own experience that when someone reaches that spot and I'm not turned on, it does not feel like pleasure at all. It just feels like pressure. And honestly, it can even feel uncomfortable or even a little bit painful. But when I'm properly warmed at first, that exact same spot, touched the exact same way, becomes incredibly arousing and builds towards those deep, rolling climaxes I was describing. The reason for this is physical, not just mental. When a woman's body becomes aroused,
Why Arousal Changes Everything
SPEAKER_00the tissue inside the vagina engorges with blood and the whole area becomes more sensitive and more responsive. And the vaginal canal actually lengthens and changes shape to make those deeper zones accessible. This is sometimes called tenting or ballooning because once aroused, the canal will actually mimic those two shapes internally. And when this happens, you know you are doing something right. So arousal isn't the nice to have that comes before the event. Arousal is what physically builds the road to the A spot in the first place. Go looking before that road exists, and you'll find pressure and disappointment. So whether you are doing this with a partner or exploring on your own, the rule is the same. You never start by hunting for the A-spot. You start by building serious arousal and letting her body open the door. So now I'm going to talk about the map. Here is the part nobody explains. The A-spot has a map, and every stop on it unlocks the next one. The mistake that most people make is treating the A-spot like a destination you drive straight to. It isn't. It is the last stop on a route, and each stop is what opens up the one after. So let me give you the whole map because once you understand it, this gets so much easier. The external clitoris is the key that unlocks the G-spot. You begin with clitoral stimulation because the overwhelming majority of women become aroused and orgasmic through the external clitoris. As she gets turned on, the internal structures that include the G spot begin to engorge and become easier to feel and find. So the external clitoris isn't a separate event. You do first and abandon. It is step one of reaching everything deeper. Then the G spot becomes the key that unlocks the A spot. Once you're stimulating the G spot and her
The Pleasure Map From Clit
SPEAKER_00arousal keeps climbing, that deeper zone starts to wake up and become accessible. You'll often know it's happening because of what her body starts doing on its own. This is the tenting and ballooning I mentioned earlier, and that happens as she gets more aroused. That is her body literally opening the road to the A-spot and telling you it's ready. And then the A-spot becomes the key that unlocks everything else. I'm talking about the blended and multiple orgasms and more. Because now there are several kinds of pleasure available at once for her body to ride from one into the next. So hold this in your head as a whole framework. External clitters unlocks the G spot, the G spot unlocks the A spot, and the A spot unlocks the kind of pleasure most people never even knew was on the menu. So now let's talk about how to actually reach it. Let's get practical because now you know the map, and this is going to be how you walk it with, well, whatever part of your body or toy you decide. Once she's genuinely aroused and either she's asking for deeper penetration or you've checked in and asked her whether she wants to go deeper, you're going to move past the G spot, roughly two inches deeper into the vaginal canal and focus your attention up on the front wall near the cervix. Now, if you're using your hands, I want to talk about that come hither motion because everyone reaches for it, and a lot of people do it badly. The gentle curl of your fingers toward the front wall is the right idea, but people overdo it. They hook hard and fast, and that turns pleasure into pain instantly. So this is not an aggressive hook motion. This is a slow, deliberate pressure up against that front wall, easing into it, reading her response
How To Stimulate With Care
SPEAKER_00the entire time. You start with light pressure, genuinely light, and you only build to something firmer if and when it clearly feels good to her, never before. And here's the rule that ties this whole episode together. You keep the external clitoris in play the entire time. For a lot of women, the A-spot on its own won't get them to the finish. And they'll still need clitoral or G spot stimulation happening alongside it. But what they'll feel is this deep internal orgasm rising up from the A-spot zone at the same time. So while you're working deep stimulation, either keep your hand or a toy on her clitoris or let her do it herself. And that combination is what produces the blended, rolling, and sometimes overwhelming climaxes that this spot is famous for. One honest note on what to expect. She may hit a point where she suddenly needs you to stop. And that can come from pure physical overwhelm, or it can come from a wave of deep emotional release, because this kind of deep pleasure genuinely moves some women to tears. Neither is a problem. Both mean you did it right. You just need to follow her lead. Here's the honest problem with the A-spot. It can be almost impossible to reach with your own hands. That's where the right tool changes everything. I want to be real with you, especially if you're a woman exploring your own body. Because the A-spot sits so deep, up near the cervix, reaching it on your own can be genuinely difficult or even impossible depending on your body and your reach. And even with a partner, hands get tired because this takes time and patience. So this is exactly where the right tool earns its place. There are really two jobs a tool can do here. And the best pick depends on what you need. If what you want is pure reach, something that's long enough and firm enough to actually get to the A spot four to six inches deep. My pick is the Wee Vibe Rave 2. It's long enough to reach and activate both the G spot and the A spot. And the whole shaft vibrates rather than just the tip. So it stimulates along the entire path on the way to that deep
When Toys Make It Possible
SPEAKER_00spot. So if you're a woman who is exploring on your own and you've been struggling to reach the A spot, this is the one I'd hand you. And for couples, it's exactly what you'd pick up when your hands get tired, which they will, so the session doesn't stall out. And if what you want is a blended approach, deep stimulation and external stimulation at the same time, which is what most women actually need to get there, then the dual stimulator that is your tool. The one I keep coming back to, especially when I'm practicing on my own, is the Womanizer Duo 2, which pairs a vibrating internal arm with clitoral suction. So you're hitting inside and outside together. And I'll be straight with you a lot of my own well-rounded knowledge of my A spot came from that exact toy. Both are linked below with my full reviews and my code Annette15 gets you 15% off either one at womanizer.com. The tool isn't a replacement for the technique. It's what makes the technique last long enough and reach deep enough to actually get there, especially when this is new to you andor your partner. Finally, I'm going to go over the best positions for reaching the A-spot. If you want to reach the A-spot during intimacy, three positions do it far better than the rest. Everything we've talked about with hands and toys translates to penetrative intimacy too. And a few positions are dramatically better at reaching that deep front wall zone. So let me give you the top three. The first and the best is lifted missionary. She's on her back, and you slide a wedge or pillow under her hips to tilt her pelvis up, which changes the angle and gives whoever is penetrating her far better access to go deeper and reach that A-spot area. And in this position, please make room for a hand or a toy on her external clitoris because that combination is the whole point. The second is doggy style with her on her hands and knees. This one allows for deep penetration and a really direct angle to that front wall zone. And it also leaves her external spots easy to reach, either by you or by her. And she can prop a pillow
Best Positions To Reach Deep
SPEAKER_00under her chest to free up a hand for exactly that. And the third is her on top, cowgirl, which I love for this because it hands her all of the control. When she's on top, she can position things at the exact angle and depth her body needs to reach that deep spot. And the natural curve of penetration in that position tends to angle right toward her A spot. She can also add a toy externally while she moves. And I'll tell you from real personal experience that the odds of a blended orgasm in that setup are high. Across all three, the theme never changes. Get the depth and the angle to reach the front wall deep and keep the external clitoris involved the entire time. So here's the whole journey. The A spot is a real, deep, erogenous zone that most people never have learned to reach. And getting there can unlock the most intense emotional, rolling orgasms a lot of women have never felt. You start by building real arousal, because arousal is what physically opens the road. You follow the map, letting the external clitters unlock the G spot and the G spot unlock the A spot. You reach it with slow, light pressure on the front wall, never a hard hook, and you keep the external spot in play the whole time. You bring in the right tool when you can't reach it or you get tired, and you use positions that get you deep. And whether you're doing this with a partner or discovering it in your own body on your own, the payoff is the same. It's deeper pleasure and more orgasmic and connected experience. And for a lot of people, a real sense of release. Give it time, keep the pressure low, and let
